Tanasha G was born and raised in New Jersey, in a musical family.

Her father, a French bass player from Marseille, met her New Yorker mother while performing at Club Med, sparking the artistic spirit that shaped Tanasha's life.

A performer at heart, Tanasha earned her BFA in acting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

Her creative talents have led her to produce compelling video and audio content for renowned institutions such as The Museum of Modern Art, Aperture, Teiger Foundation, Kurimanzutto, The Pace Gallery, and Jenny Holzer Studio.

As a dancer, she shares an enduring collaboration with the Bessie award-winning choreographer Nicole Mannarino.

 Her work delves into profound themes of existence and self-love, driven by a hope to inspire healing and growth in humanity.
